What is the difference between rear maintenance and front maintenance?

The maintenance methods of LED display are mainly divided into front maintenance and back maintenance.

Back maintenance used to for LED screens of building exterior walls, it must be designed with a aisle back side so that technicians can perform maintenance and repair from the back of the screen body.

Ensure the waterproof well enough in outdoor environment, rear maintain led screen also need an aluminum profile surrounding package to ensure no water sank into the led display, whose protection level should be IP65.

The overall technical requirements are high for installation and removal.

Also, for outdoor led display, Premteco have developed 3 kinds of service methods for outdoor led displays.

The first one is fully front access LED screen as below image:

The second front maintenance method is Front Open Door Cabinet with hydraulic rod integrated all components including, power supply, receiving cards, etc.

With front service LED cabinet, you can dismantle all components from the front face of the screen and don’t need to leave large space( at least 80cm) back of the screen body for maintenance aisle. And meanwhile, it will save steel structure cost.

The third method is back(rear) service LED screens as following images:

This kind of LED cabinet is more used in exterior building decoration. The cabinet is door design and all the components inside the door can be removed from the door. With rear service LED cabinet, it is more convenient for high architecture because you don’t need to use lifting machine for installation and maintain.
