The packaging material of the LED device is mainly a plastic material such as epoxy resin. The plastic is a polymer material, and the gap between the molecules of the polymer material is large. The vaporous water molecules can penetrate into the shell through the gap, but the liquid molecules are due to their own tension. And the mobility is not strong, the rate of penetration will be much smaller.
LED devices, outdoor lamp bead devices through the structural design to meet the product waterproof function, but no matter the outdoor, indoor lamp beads, due to the characteristics of plastic materials, are all moisture sensitive electronic components.
The LED device is damp, and the water vapor penetrates into the lamp bead. When the water vapor contained in the air penetrates into the lamp bead, the halogen in the water vapor reacts with the metal in the lamp bead in the case of energization, which seriously causes the chip to short-circuit and leak. Or drop the electrode, causing the display bead to appear string bright.
Coming March of each year in China, the weather is quite humidity. How to properly keep and use the led display is especially important.
How to protect LED lamps to get moisture?
The correct remedy for the damp led display screen:
1. Use a fan or other tool to completely dry the damp led display screen.
2. The screen body that is completely blown out is energized and aging. The specific steps are as follows:
a, the brightness (all white) is adjusted to 10%, and the power is aged for 8-12 hours.
b. Adjust the brightness (all white) to 30%, and aging for 12 hours.
c. Adjust the brightness (all white) to 60%, and aging for 12-24 hours.
d, the brightness (all white) is adjusted to 80%, and the power is aged for 12-24 hours.
e, adjust the brightness (all white) to 100%, power aging for 8-12 hours.
1. The air box and the packing box should be kept dry, and the desiccant and dehumidifying medium should be placed. The water vapor packing material should be dried in time and not exposed to water.
2, the screen storage warehouse must be dry, high ground placed industrial dehumidifier.
3. After the wet weather, the stored led display will be lit and detected. If necessary, seek technical support from the manufacturer.
