Main Structure of a LED Display Screen

1. Composition of LED display screen system

The screen body is the most intuitive part when we see a large LED screen, which is generally square mostly. It is mainly composed of the following parts: (1) LED cabinet: the inside of the LED cabinet includes the power supply, module parts and control receiving system. The structure of the cabinet mainly plays a role of fixing and protection. The fixing role means that all components must be fixed inside the cabinet to facilitate the splicing of the whole screen. Traditionally, the cabinet is made of iron. But now most is made by aluminum, die-casting aluminum. The cabinet design can effectively protect the internal components and play a good role in protection. (2) LED module: the main light-emitting part, which is also generally square. The LED module is mainly composed of four parts: First, LED, which are the main light-emitting devices. Generally, the installing structure of the outdoor LEDs are in-line structure and surface-mount structure, while the indoor ones are divided into and surface-mount structure and lattice structure. Second, the LED driving part. It is mainly divided into driver (mainly IC) and circuit board. Third, LED kit. Generally, for the outdoor LED module, the PCB board is put into the kit (back shell, waterproof rubber ring, etc), and then is filled with the LED glue to play the waterproof function. For indoor one, the unit board is spliced into a cabinet directly, without glue filling. Four, LED glue: fluid structure, divided into two types: A glue and B glue. After the two kinds of glue are evenly mixed in a certain proportion, they are poured into the kit sheathed with the lamp board. After a period of time(more than 2 hours), then the gel structure with waterproof function can be generated. (3) LED power supply: generally, the driving voltage required for LED display is 5V, and the commonly used AC power is 220V (Some countries use 110V.), so the commonly used power supply is 220V to 5V, mainly including 5V30A, 5V40A, 5V60A, etc.

2. Composition of led display controlling system

The control system of led display screen can be different according to the different screen specifications and playback requirements. According to classification of led electronic large screen systems: (1) Control card: mainly divided into sending card, receiving card, transfer card, etc. Different control cards are selected according to the specification, size, interface definition, etc. of the led large screen. (2) Control software: mainly divided into synchronous software and asynchronous software. The asynchronous software is mainly responsible for the sending function and does not participate in the display control of the screen after sending. (3) Control host, that is, computer. Generally, asynchronous systems do not have high requirements for LED screens on computers, but full-color systems require independent video cards.

3. External equipment of led display screen

(1) Monitoring system: mainly various sensors and monitoring software. (2) LED screen protection systems: mainly including heat dissipation system and lightning protection system. (3) Sound systems: mainly amplifiers and speakers. (4) Video input equipment: DVD/VCD, VCR, CCTV, etc. (5) Image and text input devices: such as scanners, digital cameras, etc.
